Help hummingbirds nest on your property

If you have ever wondered what materials hummingbirds use to build their nests, we have a product that offers part of the answer. Along with lichen, varied malleable soft plant materials, spider web silk and other natural products found on your property, hummingbirds appreciate the fibers found in the Hummer Helper created especially for your hummingbirds.

All we did to test this product was to hang it where we could observe our hummingbirds near one of our feeders. (Photo) In less than 24 hours we witnessed a female plucking some fibers in the early morning. NOTE: In our particularly windy conditions, we had to be careful to find a location that wouldn't rock the cage which would not encourage its use.

Hummingbirds are not the only birds observed using this product in trials. Goldfinches and titmice are two examples. If you observe other species, please let us know as we would like to share that information with other bird watchers.
